Custom Sugar Cookie Contract

▶️ Payment due. You pay, I bake!  50% payment is required up front so that I can source your cute cutters, spectacular sprinkles, and perfect packaging. Your payment reserves your pick-up date too! Win win for all of us!

 

▶️ No show = no cookies. These cookies are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed upon pickup time forfeits your order.  Need to reschedule your order? Please reach out 5 days prior to your pickup time.

 

▶️ Refunds. I can offer refunds up to 1 week before the agreed upon pickup date. After that time, I cannot offer refunds as I have likely already started on your order. But the good news - you get the cookies! 

 

 

▶️ Delivery Clause. All orders are pick-up only. Delivery can be an option if you live within 10 miles of the pick-up location. I love a good drive (bonus if that drive is past a Starbucks).

 

▶️ Pickup Dates and Times. Delivery and pick up times are set upon ordering. If you are ordering cookies for a party but want to pick them up a day or so before, make sure you set that as your pickup date!

 

▶️ Inspiration. Thanks tons for bringing those inspo pictures! They're just that - inspiring. But your cookies may not be perfect replicas - we'll try to keep it close. We will do our best to color match your palette, but some colors may vary.

 

▶️ Covid Care. We know that you can't control when you have come in contact with a person who has Covid, and we want to work with you. Need to reschedule your event? We can freeze your cookies for up to 2 weeks so you can stay home and rest.

 

▶️ Price Adjustments. All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredients costs. I'm always trying to provide the best tasting cookies to my clients. This also means I can't honor old pricing (because the local grocery store won't honor their old flour prices - darn it).

 

▶️ Product Photography. Say Cheese! We create replicas of client orders to photograph these pretty sweet lookin' sweets. If you do not want your cookies in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order. Secrets are safe with me.

 

▶️ Copycats. Copyrighted images (think Star Wars and Peppa Pig) are protected, and I won't be able to replicate them baked goods (who wants cookie controversy, right?). We can make a similar color palette though - so let's talk! 

 

▶️ Pictures are worth a thousand words. But they're not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you end up with. Also - cookies in photos may not be true to size! (which is a bummer, I'd frankly love to eat an 8.5x11 in cookie)

 

▶️ Eenie Meenie Order Minimums & Maximums. (that didn't rhyme - I'm a baker not a poet). I require a minimum order of 1 dozen! Need fewer? Stay tuned for a popup shop announced on my Facebook page! There is a maximum order amount of 4 dozen. I'm a one-woman show, and as much as my cats would like to help me, they can't. 

 

▶️ It's All Yours Now. Once you pickup your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your cookies is all on you! Keep 'em safe, keep 'em cool, and keep 'em out of the fridge. 

 

 

▶️ Cottage Food Laws. This has been made in a home kitchen not inspected by NJ DOH. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, gluten free. I cannot offered gluten free items at this time.
